HARIO x Tri-Up - FLOW Tritan Dripper
After a year of development, the Tritan version is finally here, and it comes with many exciting surprises. Let us introduce them to you in detail.
Material.
The most significant change is, of course, the switch from ceramic to Tritan polyester material. Tritan has a low thermal conductivity, which reduces heat absorption in the brewing system, allowing for more stable extraction and a faster response to temperature adjustments made by the brewer. Additionally, the use of Tritan allows us to create an open system, laying the foundation for versatile expansions in the future.
Open System.
Modularizing the components of the dripper marks a new beginning for the FLOW dripper, allowing more tailored brewing options based on coffee bean selection. We’ve separated the central column, body, and base, facilitating future developments.
Component Improvements.
Central Column. Now equipped with embedded magnets, eliminating the need for adhesive and improving structural stability.
Body. Features a ribbed design that reduces bypass water, enhancing extraction consistency.
Base. Refined rib design stabilizes the water flow and provides overall sturdiness to the dripper.
This version isn’t just an upgrade—it’s a whole new beginning. We hope you’re as excited as we are for the diverse possibilities and innovations to come, making coffee brewing even more enjoyable!
